Poor Fingerprint Removal

Q. I am getting foaming and poor finger print removal I have examined Detergent 8 and Liquinox. Do you have other suggestions? A. Both Liquinox and Detergent 8 can effectively remove fingerprint residues. Unless you otherwise have a need for an ion-free detergent because you are cleaning off electronic or semiconductor ion sensitive substrates, I would recommend using Liquinox because it is more economical. Remove Biofouling from Ultrafilters

Q. We are a waste treatment plant with an in-house ultrafiltration system. We keep experiencing rapid fouling of our filters causing an excessive need to take the system out of service for cleaning. We suspect that microbes are growing inside the system and rapidly clogging the pores of the filter. We have tried hot NaOH flushes and we see little to no improvement on the filter permeability and very poor permeability recovery.

Addition of Acid Rinse to Wash Cycle

We have a glass wash machine and use Alcojet for it. We would like to know if you need to include a neutralizing agent like Citrajet as part of the wash cycle (acid rinse)? Alcojet® Low Foaming Powdered Detergent is what we would call free-rinsing, meaning it rinses completely away with water without rinse aids.

Cleaning Soft Water Storage Tank

Q. Need to clean a 10,000 gal fiberglass soft water storage tank with minimal downtime. Will be using a power washer to apply cleaning solution. Unsure of what cleaner to use.
A. Flood the surface of the tank with a 2% Citrajet solution to remove water scale and stains using the low pressure detergent dose setting on the power washer. Rinse thoroughly using the high pressure, water-only rinse setting using potable water for the rinse.

Cleaning Grinding Wheels

Q. Need help cleaning dried on surry from diamond grinding wheels.
We recommend using a warm 1% Alconox® solution (1.25 oz/gal or 10 g/L) followed by a thorough water rinse to clean off dried on slurry from diamond grinding wheels. Alconox® contains excellent wetting agents and particulate dispersants that will remove the dried on slurry.
