Q. We’re using DETOJET to remove excessive flux deposits from our electronic components. However, this is corrosive and contains chlorine and we need to make sure there is no out-gassing after cleaning. Do you have a compliant detergent?

A. We recommend using Detergent 8 to remove flux deposits from electronic components followed by a thorough high purity water rinse. Use either distilled, reverse osmosis or carbon filtered deionized water for rinsing. Detergent 8 can be used for soak, ultrasonic or spray washing machine use.

For more information please see the Detergent 8 Technical Bulletin. To test an Alconox, Inc. detergent for free, please complete the questionnaire at Get Sample.  For more on cleaning electronics, please visit Alconox website.
