Q. We are looking for a neutral ultrasonic cleaner and currently use Liquinox. Should we be considering Alconox or Alcojet?
A. Since you have Liquinox and you’re doing ultrasonic cleaning, I would recommend continuing to use Liquinox. We recommend a 1% Liquinox solution in most cases, depending upon the residue being removed and the material of construction.
Liquinox has a pH of 8.5 and since neutral is 7, Liquinox is only slightly alkaline. Under most circumstances this is sufficient. For more information about Alconox, Alcojet and Liquinox, consult our SDS and technical bulletins.
