We’ve been a long time user of Solujet for our CIP system, and love it! I recently passed by your booth at a tradeshow and you set me up with a sample of Keylajet when we mentioned some extra viscous waxy residue we were having trouble removing. We were hoping to stay with our CIP method. It worked great! Can you relay more info?
Q. Our pharmaceutical company is transferring product manufacture to a different one our facilities. We used a CIP cleaning process with Citrajet and are going to have to perform validation and verification tests again. What information do we need for our testing? Chemical properties might be helpful as well as the science on how this chemical works. We would also need information on disposal and the requirements for allowing this to flow to normal process drains.
Q. Are there ways to remove oxidation on stainless steel without acidic detergents? We are looking to simplify our process and avoid low pH. A. While citric acid based oxidation removal and passivation is our preferred method due to its safety profile, there are ways to remove oxidation from steel with alkaline detergents.
Q. Can Alconox assist with pre-powder coat cleaning?
A. Yes! To get the best powder coating results, you will need a residue free surface. The detergent you use will depend on the material being coated. The reduction in surface oxides greatly helps with adhesion. The surface is made more receptive to accepting the coating.
We are manufacturing vape cartridges and are removing residues of viscous resins, essential oils, glycerin and flavor enhancers with a CIP system. Some of these are botanical heavy resins and waxy. Can Alconox, Inc. help? Learn more…
