A. Use either 1% Alconox or Liquinox in a heated 160 deg F ultrasonic bath followed by a deionized water rinse to clean optical lenses during manufacturing.

Sonicating hardened tool steel

Q. We need to find an alternative cleaning solution we can use to sonicate metal (hardened steel) tools with that won’t rust them.

A. Hardened tool steel is prone to flash rusting on exposure to water and humidity with dissolved oxygen if there are no corrosion inhibitors present. Industrial Laser Chiller Cleaning

Q. Chillers get scale build-up that reduce their heat transfer efficiency, thereby reducing their chiller performance. In particular industrial lasers need good chiller performance.
