Lowering the pH of Tergazyme

Q. Can you lower the pH of Tergazyme using Citric acid or vinegar?
A. Yes. To adjust the pH of a 1% Tergazyme solution from pH 9.5 to about pH 8.5 add 0.1 grams of 99% anhydrous citric acid for each 5 grams of Tergazyme.

Cleaning Aqueous and Organic Pharamaceutical Products

Q. We wish to buy in a universal set of detergents that meet our requirements. Is there a single detergent suitable for cleaning of aqueous AND organic (wax based) pharmaceutical products?
A. Liquinox or Solujet will remove water soluble aqueous and typical organic wax based pharmaceutical product, each through different cleaning methods.

Utilizing Alconox on Stainless Steel

Q: We currently use Alconox detergent on our manufacturing equipment as well as a glass cleaner in the labs. We are qualifying a piece of equipment and wanted assurance that Alconox detergent can clean different types of Stainless Steel. I downloaded the Tech Bulletin that notes Stainless Steel, but does not give any specifics. Do you have documentation regarding the different types of Stainless Steel that Alconox cleans from?
