Q. We are finding rust particles in our solution containment filter. There is a steel component in the tank that we oil after flushing part with water.

A. It sounds like you need to do a final rinse with deionized or distilled water — or you are not successfully cleaning in the first place and you have the wrong detergent. On plastic parts, I would think the rust must be coming from the rinse water.  Is there any other source of metal to cause rust in the process?

The best cleaner for cleaning rust with a power washer would be to use Citrajet at a 1% dilution followed by a thorough rinse with a final rinse in purified water.
