Q. We are excluding the resin residue from an industrial process. The factory melts the resin (PMMA) and produces film or sheets pressing out around a big roller with micro bumps. The problem is that resin residue are remained between the micro bumps on the roller, it cause the damage of the production.  The roller is chromium plated, and the temperature for processing is about 100-120 degree Celsius. Please advise which Alconox detergent would be proper for cleaning the resin between the micro bumps.

A. I recommend a 5% hot, Detergent 8 solution to remove resin from the chrome plated micro bumps.   For more information on this electronic cleaning solvent please see the Detergent 8 Technical Bulletin. To test an Alconox, Inc. detergent for free, please complete the questionnaire at Get Sample.  For more on cleaning electronics, please visit Alconox website.
