Q. I am doing environmental testing for ammonia levels and need to properly pre-clean all objects that will come into contact with our samples. We were thinking of using Liquinox detergent. Is it ammonia free? Will it interfere with sample results?

A. Liquinox® Critical Cleaning Liquid Detergent is a great choice for several reasons. First off, it does not contain ammonia. Liquinox detergent is also phosphate free, biodegradable and readily disposable. And finally, since it’s free rinsing, you can be assured of reliable results and no interfering residues.

Whether measuring free or ionized ammonia, it is never a simple task. The last thing anyone needs is any residue interfering with an already exact science. Use Liquinox detergent solution with peace of mind. You should have no issues with your ammonia measurements for testing and analytical purposes.
