Q: How can I clean and sanitize my musical instruments?

A: Cleaning is certainly necessary before any disinfection step, as outlined in our articles, the CDC and EPA websites.

Thorough cleaning and rinsing will perform a sanitizing procedure on your musical instruments, or any hard surface. This cleaned surface can then be formerly disinfected or sterilized as needed, if needed. Instruments that are for personal use may not need disinfection after thorough cleaning, while those that might be shared, should absolutely be.
