Q: We are working with cannabis resin in our lab and the residue is very tough to remove. We are currently using isopropyl alcohol and it is just not good enough. Any advice?
A: It is no secret that waxy, sticky cannabis and other botanical resins are some of the most difficult residues to clean. But of course, keeping your labware, glassware and other laboratory equipment clean is vital.
Q: Our gold plating process leaves some residue and someone recommended chlorine bleach for cleaning, but we’re afraid that will negatively effect the finish. Can Alconox assist with safely removing residues from gold plating? Should we use a soak or ultrasonic cleaning process?
We currently use Alconox detergent to clean our cold-form extruders. While it’s great for grease, it doesn’t seem to help cut the stickiness we see from cane molasses and corn syrup. Do you have a recommendation for another cleaning agent?
We have purchased one of your liquid low foaming detergents (the dishwasher dealer recommended liquid detergent) and have been using it straight out of the bottle into our dishwasher cup. Do we dilute the detergent before putting in the dishwasher dosing cup? Is liquid or powder better? Read on….
Q. what is sodium dichloroisocyanurate?
A. A stable form of chlorine. Products that contain it do not need to add bleach. Alcojet and Detojet already contain dichloroisocyanurate. Or click here to access each of our detergent’s Material Data Safety Sheets including the Alcojet and Detojet msds. You can also request a free sample by completing the questionnaire at Get Sample.
