Q. To comply with air quality requlations, the use of low volatile cleaning compounds is often required. How much volatile organic compounds (VOC) are in Alconox cleaners?

A. The use of aqueous cleaners can often eliminate of reduce to acceptable levels the volatile organic compounds (VOC) used for cleaning. Alconox, Liquinox, Tergazyme, Alcojet, Alcotabs, Detojet, and Citranox all have 0% VOC. Detergent 8 and Luminox both have less than 50 ml/liter VOC at recommended use concentrations.
