The Problem: Aluminum trays used in washer/sterilizers can be attacked by corrosive hospital detergents used in the wash cycle.
The Solution: Use neutral pH non-corrosive Luminox hospital detergent as a cleaner during the wash cycle to avoid aluminum corrosion. Typically you use 2 1/2 oz. per gallon of wash cycle solution or set your dosing to 2% during a hot water cleaning cycle.
