Cleaning Brass with Citranox

Q. What effect will Citranox have on cleaning brass?

A. Citranox® Liquid Acid Cleaner and Detergent is a phosphate free, concentrated cleaner and metal brightener for high performance removal of metal oxides, scale, salts and inorganic residues in manual and ultrasonic cleaning. Citranox detergent will brighten brass by cleaning dark copper oxides from the surface. It leaves a brighter, shinier, more yellow surface. 

Use a warm 2% solution of Citranox (2.5 oz/gal or 20 mL/L) for cleaning brass in an ultrasonic tank. Rinse thoroughly with water.

For low foaming applications, including washers or high pressure spray systems, Citrajet® Low-Foam Liquid Acid Cleaner/Rinse is your answer.
